What this site is
RetireCalc (retirement-calculator.app) offers free, educational retirement calculators and worked examples, published by Hommer Zhao. Nothing is sold on this site. By using it you agree to these terms.
Not financial advice
Results are arithmetic on the numbers you enter and the assumptions shown on each page. They are not predictions, recommendations or personal financial, tax or legal advice. The site's publisher is not a licensed financial adviser, planner, tax professional or actuary. Speak to a qualified, licensed professional before making decisions about your money.
Accuracy and no warranty
We try to keep the calculations correct and publish the formulas on the methodology page, but the tools are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Models are simplified: for example they do not model tax rules or account types, and the one optional tax setting is a flat percentage you enter. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from use of, or reliance on, the site.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that harms it, or present its results as professional advice to others.
